Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Zapit Technologies ("we", "us") handles information in connection with this website (zapittech.com). We're an IT company: we build software and provide AI, network, and IT services.
1. Scope — what this policy covers
This policy covers this website only. Each of our software products has its own privacy policy, because different products handle data differently — some store no personal data at all, others do. When you use a product, the privacy policy shown with that product applies to it.
2. Information we collect
Information you choose to send us
If you contact us — through the inquiry form or by email — we receive what you send: your name, your email address, and the contents of your message. Our website's inquiry form simply opens your own email app to send us a message; it does not store your details on the website.
Technical data from hosting
Our website is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare automatically processes standard technical information needed to deliver and protect the site — such as your IP address and basic request details — under its own terms as our service provider. We do not use this to identify you personally.
We do not run advertising trackers or third-party analytics profiling on this website.
3. How we use information
- To reply to your inquiry and provide the services or information you ask for.
- To deliver, secure, and maintain the website.
- To keep records of our dealings with clients and to meet our legal obligations.
4. Legal bases (UK/EU GDPR)
Where GDPR applies, we rely on: your consent (when you contact us), our legitimate interests (running and securing our business and website), and, where relevant, performance of a contract with you.
5. Sharing your information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers who help us operate, and only as needed. These include our website host (Cloudflare), our email provider, and — when you buy a product or pay for services — our payment processors, Lemon Squeezy and Stripe, who process your payment and billing details under their own privacy policies (we don't store your full card number). We may also disclose information where required by law.
6. How long we keep it
We keep inquiry messages and client records only as long as needed for the purpose we collected them, and to meet legal or accounting requirements, then delete or anonymize them.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or object to our use of your personal information, to restrict processing, and to data portability (UK/EU GDPR). California residents have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including to know and delete personal information and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. To make a request, email support@zapittech.com.
8. Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. International transfers
Some of our providers — for example Cloudflare (hosting) and our payment processors Lemon Squeezy and Stripe — may process data in the United States or other countries outside your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for those transfers.
10. Children
This website and our services are intended for businesses and adults; they are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
11. Our products
Our products each have their own privacy policy, provided with the product and/or on the product's own website. Please read the policy for the specific product you use.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "effective date" at the top shows when it last changed.
